A Universal Gateway connects to the AC unit's own control terminals, where the manufacturer's wall controller would go, and puts that unit on an AirNexus system.
It is small enough to fit in the unit or the ceiling space, and one 2-core cable runs back to the controller or screen. Each unit then has on/off, mode, fan, setpoint and room temperature in the app, plus its fault codes explained in plain English.
Universal Gateways connect each AC unit to a NexusLite screen, and Daikin, Mitsubishi and other units to ZoneNexus alongside package units. A Nexus 8, 16 or 32 connects to the units itself, with no gateway needed.
15 leading AC brands: Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, Mitsubishi Heavy, Hitachi, Toshiba, Fujitsu, Panasonic, Midea, Gree, Haier, Hisense, Carrier, York, Kelon and EK
