The Universal Expansion is a versatile I/O expansion module that connects to any Nexus controller. Choose between 8, 11, 16 or 32 channels of digital or analogue control depending on the size of your project. Unlike the Hydronic Controller which is purpose-built for heating systems, the Universal Expansion is designed for any application that needs to be monitored or switched by the Nexus platform — from CO2 sensors to circulation pumps to exhaust fans.
Every channel is user-configurable as a digital input, digital output, analogue input, or analogue output. Once connected to a Nexus controller, the module is auto-discovered by Nexus iQ™ and every connected device becomes visible in the cloud dashboard — ready for rule-based automation, scheduling, and real-time alerting.
